MDMK has to join with DMK or AIDMK ?

When I went to India I met Vaiko’s son Durai Vayapuri in Vaiko’s Anna Nagar home along with my friends.We had a conversation regarding current politics and also regarding MDMK relation with DMK.

For last two days I thought to key in my thoughts regarding MDMK stands on UPA. Today I spent some minutes to that. Here you go…

There is lot of chaos and gossips are going around whether MDMK has to join with DMK or AIDMK. How many seats we get and they get…bla bla bla..

From my view point
In a single line “Be with DMK and no matter how many seats we get”

Being with DMK is just not for the MLA seat; it is also for the bright future of MDMK. Because there will be lot of confusion will come within DMK after Kalaingar. Even though Stalin has its own team in DMK he may not be good substitute for Kalaingar. No matter he has the capability or not, but inside the party, with in the second, third and few first level leaders there is a big distrust on him. There will be lot of irritated big shots in DMK will move towards MDMK. If MDMK allied with AIDMK the chance for this is less. If MDMK wants to contest alone it may get less presence in Assembly and it will create de-motivation between the lay party men.

Being with DMK is like consuming some sleeping pills but with AIDMK is more than taking Cyanide. With AIDMK, MDMK may get lot of MLA seat but it will lose the future and reputation and for the life few of them will sit in the Assembly just as a MLAs only. With DMK it may have less seat but in the next assembly election the CM seat is reserved for Vaiko for sure.

So, do MDMK have to keep quite and sit simply with Kalaingar and accept whatever he gave? The answer is “No”. It have to use this opportunity to make AIDMK, DMK, PMK and Congress to understand that they are the only one going to decide the well future of Tamil Nadu. And this is the time to prove their importance in TN Politics. Already Vaiko wrote a letter to Kalaingar explaining how influence the MDMK is in Tamil Nadu and its political future.

Apart from the political perspective, after Kalaingar the whole Tamil community will miss a powerful senior leader for his in the world and Indian arena. No doubt, No matter whether Vaiko, Stalin, Ramadoss or Jaya likes that or not, all the Tamil speaking community through out the world including SriLankan Tamils will consider Vaiko as Tamil leader.

Bright and promised future is in near for MDMK. It is upto them to perform it or mess it. But Vaiko is always known for his best performances.

India, China new competitors for US: Bush

U.S. President George W. Bush delivers the State of the Union address to a joint session of Congress in Washington January 31, 2006.

In the speech he said - In the Dynamic world Economy, Competitors like China and India will create uncertainty to the US economy.

Bush said "the American economy is preeminent," asserted, "we (the US) cannot afford to be complacent."

"In a dynamic world economy, we are seeing new competitors, like China and India, and this creates uncertainty, which makes it easier to feed people's fears," he alarmed.

Bush said that there were also the murmurs of dislike of foreigners in that "we hear claims that immigrants are somehow bad for the economy, even though this economy could not function without them."
